One of the biggest topics in gaming today, Battlefield 3. EA have been in the middle of a grudge, as Activisions Call of Duty series appears to have topped most of their games in recent years. It wasn’t until Medal of Honor hit the shelves last year that the gaming industry started to get weary of the same old Call of Duty. This gave EA’s DICE the opportunity to hit them all with Battlefield 3 at the end of this year. Now, judging from the videos, images and hype built up for this game, it sounds like it’s going to be amazing. But, it’ll have to compete with Holiday 2010′s CoD: Black Ops, and this years CoD offering. It also has to be able to top this months biggest launch, Homefront. In the future it’ll have to deal with the rumored to be up-and-coming, Halo 4, Modern Warfare 3, Gears of War 3 and more. Judging by the trailer, this won’t have too many problems shocking the FPS players of the world when it finally hits the shelves. But of course, this is only my personal opinion. I’ve already pre-ordered it, and added the launch date to my calendar. Simply can’t wait for this game. What about you guys?
